Terms of Service

This document establishes the conditions that govern the use of the Dome platform, provided by Whiteflow, Lda., and the purchase of subscriptions through it. Please read these terms carefully before using Dome. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

In accordance with the amendments to the VAT Code introduced by Decree-Law No. 197/2012, of August 24, 2012:
- Invoice issuance is mandatory for all service provisions;
- In invoices processed through computer systems, all mandatory information must be entered by the billing software;
- The indication on the invoice of the recipient's tax identification number is always mandatory when requested;
- If the user wishes their tax data to appear on the invoice, this must be entered in their registration, and changes cannot be made after invoice issuance.
2. Service Description
Dome is an artificial intelligence platform developed to support public sector professionals in their daily tasks. The Service includes AI assistance features, integration with external tools, and document management.
3. Registration and Account
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Create an account by providing true and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your access credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activities carried out through your account
4. Acceptable Use
By using the Service, you agree to:
- Use the Service only for legal and authorized purposes
- Not violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Not upload illegal, defamatory content or content that violates third-party rights
- Not attempt to access unauthorized systems or data
- Not interfere with the normal operation of the Service
- Not use the Service to create or disseminate disinformation
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and all its content, features, and technology are the property of Whiteflow and are protected by Portuguese and international intellectual property laws.
The user retains all rights to the content they upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process that content exclusively to provide the Service.
6. AI Limitations
The Service uses artificial intelligence technology which, despite being advanced, may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete results. The user acknowledges that:
- AI responses should be verified before being used in important decisions
- AI responses do not constitute legal, administrative, or binding opinions for Public Administration
- The Service does not replace specialized professional advice
- Whiteflow does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of AI-generated responses
7. Plans and Payments
7.1 Subscription and Billing
- Access to the Service requires a paid subscription
- Subscriptions are billed in advance, according to the selected plan (monthly or annual)
- Renewal is automatic at the end of each billing period, unless cancelled in advance
7.2 Price Changes
- We reserve the right to change plan prices
- Any price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
- Changes apply only to the next renewal period
7.3 Refund Policy
- No refunds are issued for partial periods of use
- In case of cancellation, access remains until the end of the already paid period
- Exceptional refunds may be considered at our sole discretion
8. Beta Period
During the platform's beta period:
- The Service is provided "as is" and may undergo significant changes without prior notice
- Some features may be incomplete or unavailable
- Service interruptions or instabilities may occur
- We do not guarantee the continuity of specific features after the beta period
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue beta features at any time
Whiteflow will make best efforts to minimize any issues and to communicate significant changes with due advance notice.
9. Privacy and Data
Use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
10. Third-Party Integrations
The Service may allow integrations with third-party services (such as Google, Microsoft, etc.). These integrations are subject to the terms of service and privacy policies of those third parties. Whiteflow processes third-party integration data strictly in accordance with the permissions granted by the user and does not access third-party data beyond what is necessary to provide the requested functionality. Whiteflow is not responsible for the operation or availability of third-party services.
11. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates or circumstances beyond our control.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Whiteflow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or other intangible losses, resulting from the use or inability to use the Service. In any case, Whiteflow's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Whiteflow, its directors, employees and agents from any claim, damage, loss or expense (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. Data Export and Retention
14.1 Data Export
- The user has the right to export their data at any time through the features available in the Service
- Upon request, we will provide a copy of your data in a structured and commonly used format
14.2 Data Retention
- After account termination, your data will be retained for a period of 30 days, during which you can request its recovery
- After this period, data will be permanently deleted from our systems, except when retention is required by law
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. After termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
15.1 Right of Withdrawal
Under Decree-Law No. 24/2014, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days, without having to give a reason and without incurring any costs.
The 14-day period is counted:
- From the date of contract conclusion (subscription)
- In the case of distance or off-premises contracts
To exercise this right, you must notify us through:

- Subject: Exercise of Right of Withdrawal
- Content: Complete identification (name, registered email, subscription number) and express declaration of intention to withdraw from the contract
In case of exercising the right of withdrawal within the 14-day period, we will proceed with a full refund of amounts paid within 14 days after receiving notification.
15.2 Complaints Book
Whiteflow has an Electronic Complaints Book, as provided for in Decree-Law No. 74/2017.

16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by publishing the new Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
17. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any dispute related to these Terms will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Portuguese courts.
18. Consumer Information
What is Alternative Dispute Resolution?
Alternative dispute resolution is the possibility that all consumers have at their disposal to resort to official entities that support them in resolving a conflict or that provide them with guidance in this regard, as an alternative to resorting to judicial courts.
Alternative dispute resolution procedures begin with the submission, by the consumer, of a complaint to arbitration centers legally authorized for consumer disputes, triggering the intervention of an impartial third party in resolving the conflict.
Entities authorized to mediate, conciliate and arbitrate consumer disputes in Portugal
Under the terms and for the purposes of article 18 of Law No. 144/2015, of September 8, as amended, all consumers are informed that Whiteflow, Lda. is bound, by legal imposition resulting from mandatory arbitration, to arbitral tribunals attached to arbitration centers legally authorized for consumer disputes, regarding consumer disputes whose value does not exceed the jurisdiction of first instance courts (i.e., €5,000.00).

20. Google API Services
Dome integrates with Google services through official Google APIs. By connecting your Google account to Dome, you authorize Whiteflow to access and process certain Google user data strictly in accordance with:
- The permissions (OAuth scopes) granted by you;
- Our Privacy Policy; and
- The Google API Services User Data Policy.
Use of Google user data is limited to providing and improving user-facing features within the platform. Dome does not use Google user data for advertising purposes, data resale, or generalized AI model training.
Users may revoke Google access at any time through their Google Account settings.
